Welcome to the Call for Sessions Website for the IAHSA/AAHSA Global Ageing Conference & Exposition taking place in Washington, DC, USA, 16 - 19 October 2011.
In 2011, the International Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing (IAHSA) will partner with the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) to host the IAHSA/AAHSA Global Conference & Exposition to CELEBRATE AGE. Holding the IAHSA biennial conference in conjunction with AAHSA creates the world's largest ageing-services conference, with a projected attendance of over 10,000 attendees.
The conference theme, CELEBRATE AGE, provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the most innovative programmes from around the world, along with an exciting forum for the exchange of both practical knowledge and new strategies focused on the provision of care and services for older adults. Under the umbrella of the IAHSA Quality Movement, IAHSA members strive to deliver continually improving, quality services to older adults. Each of the education sessions provides an opportunity for members to learn how to move forward in their quality improvement processes.
IAHSA encourages colleagues from all corners of the globe to submit proposals for consideration in the programme. Accepted proposals will also be eligible for consideration for the 2010-2011 IAHSA Excellence in Ageing Services Award.
All prospective proposal submitters are welcome to visit the IAHSA website to learn more about our association, the IAHSA/AAHSA Global Ageing Conference and the IAHSA Excellence in Ageing Service Award.
Attention USA Submitters: Proposals from the USA will be accepted through AAHSA's call for sessions which will go out in September 2010.
Please wait until then to submit your proposal. For American
proposals with international content, contact IAHSA at iahsa@aahsa.org to determine the best submission process.
