Welcome to the Call for Abstracts/Papers website for the IAHSA/ACSA International Global Ageing Conference taking place in Perth, Australia, 31 August - 4 September 2015.

In 2015, the International Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing (IAHSA) will partner with Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA) to host a joint Global Ageing Conference around the theme of COMMUNITIES COMING TOGETHER. Holding IAHSA’s 11th biennial conference in conjunction with ACSA, one of Australia's peak national bodies, provides an extraordinary venue with a projected attendance of over 1000 industry professionals in ageing services.

The conference will showcase innovative programmes from around the world, along with a unique forum for the exchange of both practical knowledge and new strategies focused on high quality housing, care and services for older adults. The concurrent programme will provide an opportunity to promote best practices, explore new ideas and discover innovations that maximize the quality of life of older adults. ACSA and IAHSA expect a high calibre of responses from around the globe from the concurrent sessions Call for Abstracts/Papers.

IAHSA and ACSA are encouraging colleagues from around the globe to submit proposals for consideration in the concurrent programme. Accepted proposals are also eligible for the 2015 IAHSA Excellence in Ageing Services Award and the IAHSA Ageing Research Award.
