Welcome to the Call for Presentations website for the IAHSA/ACSA Conference taking place in Perth, Australia, 31 August - 4 September 2015.
In 2015, the International Association of Homes and Services for the Ageing (IAHSA) will partner with Association for Care & Services of Australia (ACSA) to host a Global Ageing Conference around the theme of COMMUNITIES COMING TOGETHER. Holding IAHSA’s 11th biennial conference in conjunction with ACSA, a peak national body in Australia, provides an extraordinary venue with a projected attendance of over 800 professionals in ageing services.
The conference will showcase innovative programmes from around the world, along with a unique forum for the exchange of both practical knowledge and new strategies focused on high quality housing, care and services for older adults. The education programme provides an opportunity to learn best practices, explore new ideas and discover innovations that maximize the quality of life of older adults.
IAHSA and ACSA encourage colleagues from around the globe to submit proposals for consideration in the programme. Accepted proposals are also eligible for the 2015 IAHSA Excellence in Ageing Services Award and the Ageing Research Award.
