Brussels, Belgium hosted the first conference in 2006 where the topic was multiculturalism in European aged care from the perspective of consumers and providers. The second European conference was held 22-23 May 2008 and addressed a range of critical aged-care topics including programme innovation, the frontline workforce, and leadership development. Attendees participated in a diverse programme that included keynote presentations, panel discussions, facilitated roundtables, and social events.
