IAHSA Staff Exchange Programme Guest Guidelines

Guests are expected to:

• Remain on the payroll of their employer and have financial support for travel expenses.
• Have a valid passport and visa (if applicable).
• Have clear, written objectives for the exchange.
• Prior to the exchange, discuss the following with the appropriate person at the hosting facility: the objectives of the exchange; the schedule and any financial, language, medical, immigration or other issues. Both parties need to have a clear understanding and agreement on how any outstanding issues will be resolved and all issues must be resolved before the exchange begins.
• Participate as a member of the hosting facility’s team.
• Arrange for photos during the exchange that can be used in IAHSA publicity afterwards.
• Submit a written synopsis of the exchange to IAHSA for inclusion in materials about the exchange.
