Excellence in Ageing Services Award

Through the Excellence in Ageing Services Award, we recognize organizations and/or individuals for programmes and services that are models of innovation and excellence and that contribute significantly to the quality of life of the elderly. Recipients of this award are honored for their programmes and projects that provide an outstanding specific and personal benefit to the people they serve. Proposals submitted and accepted through the International Conference Call for Presentations are eligible for consideration for the Award.

The main criteria for this award include:

• Originality and creativity of the programme or technique;
• Proven benefits to the residents, clients or organization;
• Potential for application to the needs of other organizations or facilities.

2009 Excellence in Ageing Services Award

Nominations for the IAHSA Excellence in Ageing Services Award will be considered from the proposals submitted during the 8th International Conference Call for Sessions. Winners will be announced at the IAHSA 8th International Conference in London, England.
