St. Andrew's Resources for Seniors
The Caring Workplace Program

This program benefits the elderly, the family members who care for them, and the caregivers’ employers. The program and St. Andrew’s staff provide worksite services - counseling, assessments, care planning, resource information and referral – that help employed caregivers provide quality care to their senior family members while effectively balancing care giving and their jobs. Employers benefit from having more focused, productive employees. Currently, 14 St. Louis-area companies participate in The Caring Workplace and more than 2000 caregivers have been touched by the program.

Artists for Alzheimer’s™

Also known as A4A, the Artists for Alzheimer’s™ initiative connects volunteer artists with people who are living with Alzheimer’s disease. The mission of A4A is to enrich the cultural life of people living with Alzheimer’s disease, enable them to express their inner selves, and lessen the stigma that often accompanies a diagnosis. A4A directly serves over 200 people a week within an assisted living setting and the program has partnered with the Museum of Modern Art [MoMA] in New York, New York, USA to develop museum tours and interactive art workshops for those within the Alzheimer's community.

The Short Term Intensive Community Care and Support Service (STICCS)
Sydney, NSW, Australia


Developed in partnership with the government's Central Coast Area Health Service. STICCS is a high care, community-based service to help people with dementia return home after a period in the hospital rather than enter a residential facility. STICCS focuses on nutrition, medication management, social contact and transition management.
